Why this Affinity Group

Parenting as a student comes with unique challenges. Successfully navigating the college experience can be challenging enough on its own, but it can be made all the more difficult when you also need to ensure that your child’s needs are met as well. 

Here at NCTC we understand these challenges which is why we formed the Parents in College Affinity Group. Set up a one-on-one meeting with one of our affinity group mentors who are here to not only connect you with resources but also to stand with you as you address parent-student related challenges. Make sure to ask if you qualify for a Childcare Reimbursement which can help cover the cost of childcare while you attend classes.
