This campus serves all of Cooke County, of which Gainesville is the county seat and the largest city. In its present location since 1960, the college district was created separate from the local public school district.

About Our Campus

The Gainesville campus is situated on a 110-acre tract about two miles from downtown Gainesville on West California Street (US 51). It’s just eight miles from the Red River, which separates the Lone Star and Sooner states. NCTC draws many students from southern Oklahoma. In fact, because our college district borders this neighboring state, we allow qualified Oklahoma residents attending NCTC to pay *in-state* tuition rates!

Visit Us

Both the Gainesville and Corinth campuses are situated along the "Interstate 35 Corridor" that extends from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex northward through Lewisville, Denton and points north along the route to Oklahoma City.

Student Union

One of the newest additions, the Student Union is home to our campus dining hall (Great Western Dining), Starbucks, Bookstore, and several cozy study areas.

Leo and Mabel Scott Health Science Center

Opened in September of 2016, this facility with its state-of-art lecture halls, equipment, and simulation center provides one of the most authentic, hands-on learning experiences a Health Science major could ask for.

Industrial Technology Center

NCTC carries a successful job readiness rate with experienced instructors, hands-on training, and the most up-to-date equipment.

First State Bank Center for Performing Arts

The FSB Center for Performing Arts is a truly unique structure on the Gainesville Campus and offers an equally unique experience for performing arts majors. The stage hosts annual performances from our up-and-coming actors, set builders, playwrights, and musicians.

Mary Josephine Cox Library

The Library is home to friendly, helpful librarians and a trove of resources; books, media, online databases, study guides, etc. Within the Library walls, is the Eddie C. Hadlock Center for Student Success offering tutoring and success coaching to ensure you are successful in college and the workforce.

NCTC Equine Center

The Equine Center and Henry Spaeth Agriculture Center are an ideal place for learning and training in agriculture, equine science, equine competition, horticulture, and farm and ranch management.

Darwin Fields

Both the Lady Lions Softball team and the Lions Baseball team play on the Gainesville campus at Darwin Fields.

Bonner Hall

Gainesville is the only campus with a dorm and on-site student housing available for our student athletes.
