IGNITE

Foster Care Alumni Assistance Program

The IGNITE program at NCTC provides a structured network of support to assist Foster Care Alumni in achieving their educational success.  We assist with academic, financial, career and social objectives of each student.  We provide a IGNITE Student Organization that fosters encouragement and engagement with other Foster Care Alumni Students.

Engage with  Students who enroll at NCTC who have experienced foster care of homelessness and to assess student financial, academic and social needs so that we can build a program of support for each student.

Provide a dedicated NCTC Team to connect students to faculty and staff mentors who help students navigate educational goals and career aspirations.
