Receiving I-20 & Acceptance Letter

 

Sevis Fee Payment

Once you receive your acceptance letter and I-20, please follow the steps in your acceptance letter to pay the I-901 SEVIS fee.  You must pay theI-901 fee before you can make your visa interview appointment.

Visa Interview

When going for the visa interview at the U.S. embassy in your country, take the following documents with you:

  • Visa application (DS-160 confirmation page with bar code)

  • Visa application fee payment receipt

  • Proof of payment of SEVIS fee receipt I-901

  • NCTC acceptance letter

  • Valid passport

  • Original I-20

  • Original bank statement/ letter

  • Original Affidavit of Support document

  • Proof of English Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS or Pearson PTE score report)

  • Academic transcripts/ diploma

Additional documents may be required. Take any pertinent documents that you consider important.
