Student Government Association
NCTC Student Government Association (SGA) works to effectively represent student needs and concerns. For more information about their purpose read the SGA Constitution
After identifying an area for improvement on campus, SGA brainstorms possible solutions, and communicates with the appropriate offices on campus to make a more successful NCTC experience wherever possible. Students may submit their input by filling out the Student Concerns and Compliments form. Any form of mental distress or misbehavior (including but not limited to discrimination, sexual harassment or sexual misconduct) can be reported through a CARES Report. For additional resources provided to students by NCTC visit food.nctc.edu or medical & mental telehealth services.

Holding a Board/Officer Position in SGA
Students wanting to hold a position should read the SGA Constitution for officer descriptions, expectations and requirements. The self nomination form and elections are in the Student Life/SGA Canvas Group.

General Meetings are held virtually once a month on Tuesdays at 3:00 PM. Officer Meetings are held once a month based off of the officer’s schedules.
Student Organization Funding
The first 5 Registered Student Organizations who are active in Student Government, turn in 4 Activity Approval forms, and complete the Risk Management Training are given $100.*
For additional funding complete the Budget Allocation Form.
