Gainesville Kiwanis Club Scholarship Endowment
The Gainesville Kiwanis Club has generously endowed $15,000 to support the Red River Promise program. This program provides high school students from rural communities the opportunity to attend college with comprehensive support services and full tuition coverage for two years.

NCTC Foundation honors donors and scholarship recipients
The North Central Texas College Foundation celebrated the accomplishments of students and the donors who helped provide scholarships for those students at the annual Donor and Scholar Breakfast Friday at Lions Gym on the NCTC Gainesville campus.
Johnny Leftwich Scholarship
The Gainesville Kiwanis Club honored Johnny Leftwich with an endowed scholarship for students who will be attending NCTC in partnership with Debbie Sharp and the North Central Texas College Foundation during the annual officer’s banquet.
McMurray establishes scholarship for montague county students
Janet McMurray of Bowie, Texas, has established the Clyde and Janet McMurray Red River Promise Scholarship Fund through a donation to the NCTC Foundation.
No-Cost College Program Celebrates Upcoming Third School Year
Red River Promise, a pathway program to college, is excited to embark on its third academic year in operation moving into the Fall 2023 semester. By providing accessible and affordable means to high-quality college education for students across the North Central Texas region, Red River Promise has experienced abundant success since its inception.
Simpson establishes scholarship through stock donation
Karen Budlong Simpson of Cooke County has established the Betty Kirby Budlong Red River Promise Scholarship Fund through a donation of stocks to the NCTC Foundation.
First United Bank establishes scholarship at NCTC
First United Bank has established the First United Bank Scholarship at North Central Texas College. The bank donated $13,500 this week to the NCTC Foundation to establish this endowed scholarship.
