Scholarships are grants or payments awarded on the basis of academic achievement, merit, need, classification, etc. All scholarships are evaluated and awarded through the Scholarship Office.

Application Deadlines
Apply for Summer and Fall 2024 scholarships beginning on February 1st, 2024.
Scholarship Application Deadlines:
High School students: April 1st, 2024
New & Current students: June 1st, 2024
Applications received after the final deadline date will be considered only if funds are available.

Log in to Onelogin with your NCTC username and password.
Click on myScholarships app to complete the General Scholarship Application. Your application will be automatically matched to ALL scholarships for which you are eligible based on the criteria of the scholarship.

Foundation Scholarships Offered
NCTC Foundation Scholarships
The NCTC Foundation office will try to match you with a scholarship based on criteria set forth by the donor of each scholarship. Amounts of the scholarships vary from $500 to $2,000 per academic year. Minimum eligibility requirement is a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
NCTC Foundation Dual Credit Scholarships
The NCTC Foundation offers Dual Credit Scholarship opportunities for high school students taking dual credit classes at NCTC. You can complete a General Application and select the applicable semesters you plan to take dual credit courses. If you qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program at your high school will not qualify for a NCTC Foundation scholarship because NCTC offers the Dual Credit Free & Reduced Tuition Grant. Faculty Senate Scholarship and William E. Culp Math & Science Scholarship
These scholarships will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Each semester, you must:
be enrolled in and complete at least 12 hours of college work at NCTC
maintain a 3.0 GPA
Both college and high school applicants must have an official copy of their transcript and two letters of recommendation to apply. Complete the General Scholarship Application first. If you meet the criteria you will see this opportunity under Recommended Opportunities and can download the separate application.
Mary Josephine Cox Scholarship
Awarded based on special need, special competency, or scholarship, you must have a 3.0 GPA, be under 21 years old, and graduate of a Cooke County High School or your parents must own property in Cooke County. Awards are $ 100.00 for Fall and Spring only (no summer awards) for full-time students. If 3.0 GPA and full-time status is maintained, awards can continue for five consecutive semesters.
